Dara Luangpraseut is an attorney practicing in the Central Wisconsin area since 1999. She began her career at Marshfield Clinic and Security Health Plan where she worked in-house from 1999 to 2009. She handled a wide variety of health care law related matters and served as the HIPAA Privacy Officer for the Marshfield Clinic Health System. In 2013, she opened a solo estate planning firm in Marshfield and subsequently merged her practice with Hooper Law Office in 2023. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar and Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law section. She is also a member of WealthCounsel and the Wisconsin Council of Estate Planning Attorneys.
Dara received her Bachelor of Art and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of California, Irvine where she studied Classics (Latin emphasis) and Biological Sciences. She received her Master of Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles. She then attended the University of Minnesota Law School where she received her Juris Doctor degree.
Dara and her husband, John, split their time between Wisconsin and California. They have two daughters, Uma and Fiona, and two dogs, Max and Chloe. In her free time, Dara enjoys playing tennis, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
